Windsurfing: The Dip-Felixstowe
Wind Direction: n then nne
Wind Stength: 8/15
Surf / Sea State: flatish
Air Temperature: 17
Sea Temperature: 15
Weather: sunny
Max Speed: 21.53 (knots - unless stated otherwise)

Just had to do a school run this morning so checked the Dip on the way home and it was northerly - probably the worst of all direction at Felixstowe :( but the sun was out and there looked a good breeze so was at the beach before 10 and nearly rigged the 8.5 but went with 9.4 and am glad I did as the wind was pretty light :( As the tide was low I played over by the shingle bar by Bawdsey - no sign of of lost board !!! I took a chance with the tide coming in and sailed up the River Deben to the Ramsholt bend and was going to give the day 2 stars until a spitfire flow low overhead and then the wind picked up when I got back out to sea and I had a couple of good runs :) So over 4 hours away from the van in the sunshine, just needed a little more wind !! Then had a chat with a couple of windsurfing mates who are taking kitesurfing lessons !!! and to David Coles who has just returned from a Masters Formula event at Lake Garda :)
